Building Process
Stage 1 - Foundation
Your journey begins with meeting your Construction Manager as the site is prepared. Foundation forms are set, in-slab plumbing is installed, and concrete is poured. At this stage, the project may seem small, but it’s the groundwork for excellence.
Stage 2 - Framing
The transformation begins as walls take shape. Structural framing is installed, giving a clear vision of your project’s layout. Exterior and interior walls are constructed, allowing you to see the scale and form of your space for the first time
Stage 3 - Roofing
The structure becomes weather-resistant with decking, flashing, and shingles. Windows and doors are installed, ensuring durability and protection. A weather-resistant barrier is applied to the exterior walls, reinforcing the structure and preparing it for the next construction phases
Stage 4 - Mechanical Roughs
All electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems are installed. Wiring, outlets, breaker boxes, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems are integrated. This stage ensures the functionality of essential utilities while undergoing municipal inspections to maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
Stage 5 - Drywall & Exterior Finishes
After insulation and inspections, exterior finishes such as brick or stone are applied. Inside, drywall is installed, followed by texturing to define the final aesthetic. This stage enhances both the durability and visual appeal of your space’s interior and exterior.
Stage 6 - Interior Woodwork
Interior doors, moldings, cabinets, and staircase railings are installed, adding character to the space. Skilled carpentry work refines the interiors, bringing in customized elements that enhance the structure’s functionality, elegance, and overall craftsmanship in line with DMR’s quality standards.
Stage 7 - Countertops, Tile & Paint
Walls are painted or stained, bringing life to the interiors. Kitchen and bathroom countertops are installed, followed by tile work that enhances aesthetics and durability. This stage sets the tone for a well-finished, polished, and visually appealing interior environment.
Stage 8: Finish Outs
Final installations, including plumbing and electrical fixtures, flooring, and landscaping, complete the transformation. Attention to detail ensures a flawless finish. Upper management evaluates progress, finalizing timelines for the handover of your perfectly crafted space, built to exceed expectations.
Stage 9 - Builder Acceptance
Your Construction Manager and team conduct thorough inspections to ensure everything meets DMR’s quality standards. Final municipal inspections are also completed.
Stage 10 - Client Orientation
Your Construction Manager introduces you to the completed project, showcasing its features and systems. Soon, you’ll take ownership of your dream space, built to perfection by DMR.
